A Family of Eclectic Covens United in Magic, Tradition, and Growth
The Covens of the Sacred Spirit are a group of eclectic covens based throughout the North West of England. United by one Tradition, one Accord, and one shared vision, our covens provide welcoming communities where witches can learn, practise, and grow together while retaining the unique identity of each individual coven.
Founded and guided by Magus Phoenix, each coven is led locally by its own Elders, who nurture and support their members while upholding the shared teachings, rituals, ethics, and values of our Tradition.
Our symbol is the Sacred Pentacle. Its five points represent the Five Sacred Elements—Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit. At its centre burns with the Divine Spark that exists within all creation and unites every element, every coven, and every witch within our family.
As an eclectic Tradition, we do not follow a single rigid pagan path. Instead, we embrace the diversity of our members’ spiritual journeys. Whether you are drawn to Wicca, Druidry, traditional witchcraft, folk magic, or another magical path, our covens provide supportive spaces to explore, learn, and develop your own practice.
We believe that witchcraft is a deeply personal journey. Through ritual, spellwork, seasonal celebrations, study, fellowship, and shared wisdom, we help both new and experienced witches deepen their connection to magic, nature, and personal transformation.
